The Forge

Permanent design infrastructure: contracts, a licensed component vault, layout patterns, motion, typography, color, and an anti-pattern audit engine. Built so every project I ship looks made, not generated.

1 · Contract

the signature move

Describe the product, audience, primary action, tone, density and avoid-list. The Forge picks a preset, macrostructure, palette, type system, icon language, motion set and a project-specific anti-pattern list — then exports DESIGN.md, tokens, and an agent brief.

2 · Build

against the contract

The agent brief tells Claude/Fable/Factory exactly which components, spacing scale, type scale, states, and responsive rules to obey. Vault components are license-cleared, so nothing enters a project with unclear reuse rights.

3 · Audit

then fix, then re-audit

Paste CSS or component source into the audit engine. It scores against 22 automated rules drawn from Hallmark's slop gates and my own house rules, ranked by severity with a concrete fix for each finding.

contract generatedimplemented against DESIGN.mdself-audited

This interface was generated from its own contract: Technical Dense preset, Forge Ember palette, Instrument Panel type, Lucide-compatible icon language, search-first macrostructure. If a design product looks generic, the product has failed — so the Forge runs its own rules against itself. Press ⌘K to search everything.
